Director Sanjay Gupta is gearing up for the sequel to the 2002 action hit 'Kaante.' The movie featured; Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Kumar Gaurav, Lucky Ali, Mahesh Manjrekar and Suniel Shetty. The latest we hear from reports is that the director will be roping Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham for Kaante 2.0.

The initial 'Kaante' was a multi starrer, and the film was impressive with its impactful storyline. Now, for the sequel, the director promises that the film will meet Hollywood standards and the makers are planning to make this film with a huge budget. Sanjay said that the film's major portion would be shot abroad. Apart from Abhishek Bachchan and John, there are few more inclusions in the sequel, and an official announcement with complete castings are expected to be released by mid-September.
