JUST IN: KOMBAN DIRECTOR MUTHAIAH'S NEXT IS HERE! SUPERHIT REMAKE!

In February 2018, Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar collaborated with director Duniya Soori for a crime thriller called Tagaru. The film was a massive success and was very well received by the audience and critics.

Now, the latest developments suggest that Tamil director Muthaiah, who has made films like Komban and Maruthu, has bought the official Tamil remake rights of Tagaru.

Muthiah is currently busy filming his upcoming film Devarattam with Gautham Karthik in the lead, produced by Studio Green. It is expected that the remake of Tagaru will begin after Devarattam.

Following the trend of successful gangster-cop sagas in Tamil cinema, this could be yet another intriguing film coming up. Interestingly, quite a few Kannada films have been remade in Tamil recently, and they have been proving to be quite successful too.
