Dhanush's Maari 2 to be shot in both Tamil and Telugu

Here is something for Maari 2 fans to be extremely excited about. The heroine of the film will be revealed today evening at 6 PM. So it is time we start the guessing game on who it would be.

And for all Telugu speaking Dhanush fans, the makers have announced that Maari 2 will be a proper bilingual film that will be shot separately in Tamil and Telugu.

We have not seen Dhanush talk in Telugu till date through all his films get dubbed. Now that they are making it as a proper bilingual, can we see Dhanush lending his voice for the Telugu version too?

Sai Pallavi to play the heroine in Dhanush's Maari 2

The much awaited official announcement about the heroine of Dhanush's Maari 2 has finally come.

It would be the Premam sensation Sai Pallavi who would be pairing up with Dhanush for this sequel, directed by Balaji Mohan. This would be Sai Pallavi's second Tamil film, who is already acting in director Vijay's Karu. Director Balaji Mohan tweeted, "The vibrant @Sai_Pallavi92 is the #HeroineofMaari2 Its a character thats right at the heart of the story of #Maari2 #SaiPallavi #Bilingual"

This sequel is said to have more importance for the leading lady, compared to the first part, and we can expect a performer like Sai Pallavi to pull off this role with ease.
