Actor Dhanush is on a spree for the past few months, as his Vada Chennai did extremely well at the box office and was also accepted well by the public. He then had Maari 2 release, where he donned the hat of Maari, the naughty don, after which his Hollywood debut, 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir' released.
He is currently acting in Vetri Maaran's Asuran, that sees the duo combining again after Vada Chennai. The first look poster of the film was released early this year, and received a good response from netizens.
The latest update on this film is that the makers have zeroed in on the release date. The film will be releasing on October 4. This is the second time in one year that a Vetri Maaran - Dhanush film is releasing, after Vada Chennai released on October 17, 2018.
The project is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner V Creations, and will have experienced actress Manju Warrier playing the female lead. Stay tuned for more updates on the project.
