Vetrimaaran - Dhanush is an evergreen successful combo of Kollywood. The duo have worked together in four movies so far - ‘Polladhavan’, ‘Aadukalam’, ‘Vada Chennai’ and ‘Asuran’. All the 4 movies went on to become a massive hit among the audience. Here’s some exciting news for the fans of this combo.

Sources close to us have now revealed that Dhanush will be joining hands with Vetrimaaran again, for the 5th time and the shooting is said to commence right after the lockdown is lifted and permission for shooting is given. The project is said to be bankrolled by RS Infotainment Elred Kumar and the movie will be a fresh script and not the sequel of 'Vada Chennai'.

Dhanush and Vetrimaaran to join hands for the 5th time for a film

It was earlier reported that Vetrimaaran will be teaming up with actor Soori for a film produced by the same banner. However, since a major portion of the film is to be shot abroad, the project has now been postponed due to the Covid crisis and International travel restrictions.

Vetrimaaran is expected to start this project first once the lockdown is lifted and permission for feature film shooting is allowed. Dhanush's project with Karthik Naren is expected to start after this project and Vetrimaaran's project with Suriya, Vaadivasal will start after this film. Stay tuned for more updates.
