She was also speculated to join Bigg Boss season 5 which she denied it to be true. Kani is married to director Thiru who has given movies such as Chandramouli and the pair has two lovely daughters. She recently released a video of her daughter with the caption - ponna valakkaradha vida kastam andha ponnu mudiya valakkaradhu🙆🏼♀🙇🏻♀(sic)
