BREAKING JUDGEMENT ON NADIGAR SANGAM ELECTIONS BY MADRAS HIGH COURT!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsThe election of the new office bearers of Nadigar Sangam took place on 23 June 2019. Several celebrities like Kamal Haasan, Vijay, Suriya, Karthi, R.Parthiepan, Prasanna, Sneha, Arya amongst others had casted their votes back then.
Post that the counting was withheld by the state government as the election was considered to be not conducted fairly. Later, the court had issued an interim stay for the elections of Nadigar Sangam elections (South Indian Artists Association).
Now, the Madras High Court have passed an order on Wednesday that has stated that the Nadigar Sangam (South Indian Artists Association aka SIAA) elections that was held in 2019 are valid.
The bench of Justices Pushpa Satyanarayana and Mohammed Saffiq passed the orders to open the sealed ballot box for counting and the results are to be declared within four weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!
