The 130 crore film is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under the banner AGS Entertainment.
The film is praised for its performances and the sensitive portrayal of patriarchal issues. Bigil dealt with the story of Michael, who gets the opportunity to coach a women's football team. Vijay played dual roles- Michael and his father Rayappan, an ageing gangster.
The makers have recently released a bonus track from the film. Titled 'Idharkuthaan', the song is composed by AR Rahman while 'Rowdy Baby' fame Dhee lent vocals to lyricist Vivek's verses.
Released on October 25, Bigil has received a positive commercial response and is currently running in theatres. Watch the full song below.
