Directed by H.Vinoth, Nerkonda Paarvai is the official Tamil remake of Hindi courtroom drama, Pink that had featured Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Andrea Tariang and Kirti Kulhari in the lead.

Nerkonda Paarvai featured Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami and Andrea Tariang apart from Thala Ajith in prominent roles. Produced by Boney Kapoor, the film featured music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and had hit the big screens on August 8, 2019.

As the first look was unveiled exactly a year back on this same day, a nostalgic Abhirami took to her Insta story and shared how this film was a giant leap in her career and she felt blessed to be with Thala Ajith in the first look itself. She then revealed that she still remembers the conversation she had with Ajith on the same day!
