Bala and Shivani have been a close couple - well, close friends from the beginning of the show. The possible projection of them as in love has been made often, and according to the words of the housemates themselves, Bala has been denying it. Bala had also said to Archana that he was giving her an emotional support and never felt any attraction for her.

When a statement that "love blinded him" was mentioned, he denied it, and had an outburst about the same. He also clarified to Shivani that they are good friends and if he ever felt love towards her, he would tell her.

There were quite a turn of events this episode.
