Badla is an upcoming film directed by Sujoy Ghosh of Kahaani fame, and has Amitabh Bachchan, and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. Gauri Khan, Sunir Kheterpal and Akshai Puri have produced this thriller under the banner Red Chillies Entertainment.
The story is about a young dynamic entrepreneur, who finds herself in a locked hotel room next to the body of her dead lover. She hires a prestigious lawyer to defend her, and over the course of one evening, they work together to find out what actually happened.
This film is the Indian remake of the Spanish film Contratiempo, directed by Orion Paulo. Badla is releasing on March 8, 2019. The makers have now released the trailer of the film, which looks intriguing and interesting.
