CHENNAI CITY BOX OFFICE: AYM STORMS INTO CRORES!

In spite of the currency issues doing the rounds, GVM’s Simbu starrer AYM has made a huge opening at the Chennai city box office. With a whopping collection of Rs.2,05,70,382, AYM is 4th in this year’s top grossing films. This number is the estimate arrived at by Behindwoods Box Office wing and is not the official figure.

It should be noted that, this film is Simbu’s biggest opening in the recent few years. The main reason behind this, is the combination of A.R.Rahman, Simbu and Gautham Vasudev Menon. The fact that there were no other big releases has also helped the film to get more screens and shows (495 approximately).

Kudos to the trio for pulling it off again after the VTV magic with impressive numbers at the Chennai city box office.
