Mersal's production house Thenandal Studios Limited is also a renowned distribution company, who has released quite a lot of biggies in the history.
They had recently announced that they had acquired the TN rights of Jayam Ravi's space film Tik Tik Tik. Now, the announcement has come stating that they will be releasing Atharvaa's Semma Botha Aagatha, directed by Badri Venkatesh. The film will be released by TSL in the month of November, after the release of Mersal in October for Diwali.

Yesterday (21st April), there was a major announcement from the camp of Vijay 61. This film directed by Atlee with Vijay, Samantha, Kajal Agarwal, Nithya Menen and others is expected to be released during Diwali 2017 which is surely a happy news for all Vijay fans.
For the producers Sri Thenandal Films, this is a milestone project as it is the 100th film from the esteemed production house. In this context, we would like to report that the production house is going for a change in their name. Henceforth, it would only be Thenandal Studio Limited and not Sri Thenandal Films.
