“GAUTHAM MENON SAID IT WAS UNPREDICTABLE”

Ashwin Kakumanu’s next film Zero is directed by Shiv Mohaa and the music scored by Nivas Prasanna will be hitting the stores soon. Recently Dhananjayan’s Blue Ocean Entertainment has come on board to distribute this film. 

Hero Ashwin talks about the film in detail to behindwoods:

“Zero is one of a kind and has come out very well. The quality of the movie is such that it will stand the test of time and will set a benchmark in Tamil films. I am not talking about the box office here as it is anybody’s guess.

I don’t know if I will get a film like this again. If the movie does well,  I will get more story based projects. I am very proud of the team, the director, the cameraman, editor and the music director – all of them are going to be highly spoken about after the release and will be sought after.  Nivas’s RR would be one of the many USPs of the film.

It is not a heroism film and is completely character driven; it is very much a director film. Director Shiv is someone very imaginative and the entire team gave him the freedom to realize his vision. He is also a visual guy. You can say Zero will be a visual and an aural treat.

Gautham Menon appreciated it and said it is such an unpredictable and a different film. This is the highest praise for the team”.

On his other projects, Ashwin adds that he is working in Thollaikaatchi being directed by Sadiq Khan, assistant of Lingusamy and Murugadoss. Dharan is the music director. He will also be finalizing another exciting project soon.
