Last month, DoP Manoj Paramahamsa officially confirmed that he will be working as cinematographer on the film. He further said that Thalapathy 65 would be a pan-Indian film. Recently, it was officially announced that Pooja Hegde will be pairing up with Vijay in the film. Fans are expecting this combo to be a success.
The puja of the film was done today. The beautiful photos taken of actor Vijay, director Nelson and the crew are going viral on social media. Popular Malayalam actress Aparna Das has joined the film. For the unversed, Aparna Das was initially working in Muscat and is an MBA graduate. Many videos she posted on the popular site TikTok went viral. Malayalam director Sathyan Anthikad saw this and cast her in his film. She's now on board Thalapathy 65.
