The film is being produced by Maitri Movie Makers at a huge cost. The shooting of this film was affected by the coronavirus threat. Filming restarted on November 10 after the threat subsided.
Following this, the shooting of 'Pushpa' is taking place in various important forests. The crew has decided to release 'Pushpa' in five languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead.
Currently, the crew has announced that the film will release on August 13. The film crew has decided on this date in view of the Independence Day holiday. Devi Sri Prasad scores music.
