Now, here's a new update regarding Thalapathy 66 - according to the latest buzz, Vijay will next be teaming up with Vamshi Paidapally and Dil Raju. Director Vamsi Paidipally of Thozha and Oopiri has been confirmed to direct Vijay in a Tamil and Telugu bilingual.

It is also being reported that an official announcement regarding the film will be made after the lockdown. It has been said that they would have announced the film much earlier if not for the Covid-19 situation. This untitled flick will be bankrolled by Dil Raju.
