MAJOR UPDATE: THIS YOUNG ACTOR JOINS AISHWARYA RAJESH IN THE REMAKE OF THE GREAT INDIAN KITCHEN!

Aishwarya Rajesh had agreed to reprise Nimisha's role which will be helmed by director Kannan who is holding the Tamil and Telugu remake rights. The shoot of the same kickstarted with a formal pooja recently.

While PG Muthiah will be handling the camera, Pattukottai Prabhakar will be writing the dialogues. The Tamil version is said to be set against the backdrop of Karaikudi. Now the latest update is that actor Rahul Ravichandran will be pairing up with Aishwarya Rajesh for the film.
