Jayam Ravi was last seen in the sci-fi drama, Tik Tik Tik along with Nivetha Pethuraj. The movie was considered to be the first space film in the Indian film Industry.

The actor is next seen in an action-packed movie, Adanga Maru directed by Karthik Thangavel. The movie has Rashi Khanna as the female lead with Sampath Raj and Mime Gopi in important roles. The music is composed by Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame and is produced under the banner of Home Movie Makers.
