REVEALED: THIS ACTRESS HAS UNDERGONE A MAJOR TRANSFORMATION FOR HER NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN AVATAR IN ARYA'S SARPATTA PARAMBARAI!

The film is based on the boxing culture that is prevalent in North Madras. Ever since the announcement of the project was made, there was so much of expectations stirred up for the film and the mass looks were unveiled recently and one could not hold back their excitement to watch the movie soon.

Now, it has been revealed that popular actress Anupama Kumar who will be seen in an important role in the film had to undergo some crucial changes for the film. Talking about how she landed the role, she said, “I have been an admirer of Pa Ranjith’s work since "Attakathi”, so, when he offered me a role, I didn't even blink before I said yes.”

“My role of Bhagyam is unlike any that I have ever played before. She is loud, emotional, fiery and yet lovable at the same time. Also, she is from North Madras, an area of Chennai that I am not familiar with at all. So, I was anxious that I might not be able to do justice to the beautiful role that was written. But Pa Ranjith put me at ease and assured me that all support and help will be provided to convert Anupama into Bhagyam. I had to change my looks, my voice, my body language and even my thought process. Both Arya and Pa Ranjith were very encouraging and patient with me and I will forever be grateful for this honour", she added. She is currently shooting for her next project which will be helmed by CV Kumar titled Kottravai.
