In October 30, 2020, Kajal got married to businessman Gautam Kitchlu. The wedding took place at a star hotel in Mumbai.

After her marriage, the actress played the role of Malarvizhi in the Tamil film Hey Sinamika. Choreographer Brinda directed the movie 'Hey Sinamika' that featured Dulquer Salmaan as the hero. This is the choreographer's debut film with Dulquer, Kajal and Aditi Rao Hydari which was released on March 3, 2022.

A few days ago, Kajal's husband Gautam Kitchlu officially announced that the actress is pregnant. And since then, the actress keeps treating her followers on her photo-sharing app visually with her pictures and fans are looking forward in catching new pics.

Kajal looked beautiful in her baby shower photos and shared more pics from the ceremony. In one of the photos, the actress' friend mentioned that Kajal will be blessed with a baby in the month of May. A video of the actress doing aerobic exercise did heavy rounds in the social media.

The actress, who went to a saloon shop, was returning back to her car but found her car driver missing for a few minutes. Meanwhile, Kajal, who is super-active on her social media, keeps sharing about her pregnancy journey every now and then.

A couple of weeks ago, she had posted, “I have always been a very active person and worked out my whole life. Pregnancy is a different ball game! All women who are pregnant without complications should be encouraged to participate in aerobic and strength conditioning exercises as part of a healthy lifestyle during their pregnancy - Pilates and barre helped my body change for the better pre and through my pregnancy. This transformative approach has me feeling stronger, longer and leaner. The goal of aerobic conditioning in pregnancy should be to maintain a good fitness level throughout without trying to reach peak fitness."
