Actor Vijay is currently working on Thalapathy 63, a sports film based on women's soccer directed by Atlee and produced by Kalpathi S Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner AGS Entertainment. It has Nayanthara as the female lead while Daniel Balaji, Kathir, Yogi Babu, Vivekh and others play crucial supporting roles.
It is a known fact that Vijay is quite supportive of upcoming actors and technicians in the industry. On that note, actor Shanthanu has signed a film with Vikram Sugumaran of Madha Yaanai Kootam fame. Actor Vijay was quick to wish Shanthanu this morning with a text that read "Vaazhthukkal Nanba, Semma Title!"

Vijay's Thalapathy 63 has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by GK Vishnu of Mersal fame. The film will be releasing for Diwali 2019, making it Vijay 3rd consecutive Diwali release after Mersal and Sarkar. Stay tuned for more updates.
