Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the movie became immensely popular with the audience, and when the movie's sequel was announced, fans couldn't be more thrilled. Even the title look teaser video has an exciting element - Drishyam 2 - The Resumption - indicating that this movie will feature how the family recovers from the shocking incidents and resumes normal life.
