CONFIRMED! A YOUNG HERO IN SHANKAR-KAMAL’S INDIAN 2!

The upcoming film is a sequel to the 1996 film Indian, that was also directed by Shankar, with music by AR Rahman. It had Kamal Haasan in dual roles - Chandru and Senapathy. Indian 2 will have Ravi Varman handling the cinematography, and Sreekar Prasad heading the edit department.

It was already reported that the film is all set to go on floors in August 2019 and actress Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen playing a crucial role in the film. Popular Bollywood and Kollywood actor who is known for his negative roles, Vidyut Jammwal will also be seen in the film.
