In the recent match between India and Australia in the World Cup 2019, India had an amazing victory in which Dhawan scored a massive 117 runs. Unfortunately, Dhawan had also suffered a thumb injury during the match.
It is said that Dhawan has been asked to rest after medical examination. Even though this is not yet confirmed, the fans are very worried as to whom will be replacing him in the batting line up and actor Siddharth has tweeted his thoughts on this.
