POPULAR ACTOR TEAMS UP WITH VIJAY AFTER 22 YEARS IN #THALAPATHY66 - DETAILS!

Produced by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film stars Rashmika Mandana opposite Vijay. According to credible sources, the film is a family drama and Vijay will not be playing a double role in the film.

A few days ago the puja of this film was held at a private studio in Chennai. Director Vamsi, producer Dil Raju, Rashmika Mandana and actor Vijay were present. Actor Sarathkumar is also attending the pooja. This is his first time co-starring with Vijay in this film. Praveen KL is the editor of this film. He is also the editor of Vijay's Bhairavaa. He has also worked as an editor on some of Vamsi's films.

The story and screenplay are co-written by Hari and Ashish Solomon for the film in association with Vamshi Paidipally. Karthik Palani is about to do cinematography. Dil Karthik Palani worked as cinematographer in Penguin and Adipurush films. Karthik Palani worked as an assistant to the cinematographer in the films Mercury (2018) and Petta (2019). He has also worked as an assistant cinematographer in several Hindi, Telugu and Tamil language films.

The first phase of shooting for this film is over. The second phase of shooting is about to begin. More song recording is going on in Thaman's Music. Actor Shaam has officially announced on Instagram that he will be playing the lead role in the film. He played Vijay's friend with Vijay in Kushi 22 years ago.

The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 15 and 22 at the Island Grounds in Chennai from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
