'VIJAY ANNA'S LOOK WILL SPEAK A LOT': KATHIR ON THALAPATHY VIJAY IN BIGIL! VIDEO HERE!

Talking about his emotion when he was approached for the role, Kathir mentions that he did not first realize about the great opportunity the movie provides because he was excited for spending time with Thalapathy Vijay on the sets as he personally likes the actor very much. Kathir says that Thalapathy Vijay keeps himself updated on all the latest and interesting movies in all the languages and feels that it is a learning experience to see the Vijay's acting and behavior on the set.

On how he landed the role, Kathir remarks that Atlee wanted him to give his nod only after hearing the script and dwelling upon it for two days. Though he wanted to say yes on the spot, Kathir mentions Atlee did not agree to that and wanted him to think about it for a couple of days. On the shooting spot, Kathir says he has wondered about how Vijay keeps his look, posture and style same throughout the day without a glitch, and how Kathir was used to keep away a little from when Vijay used to shoot in Rayappan's character. He says it was because he used to be a tad afraid of the look and mood of Rayappan. He says even a small look of Thalapathy Vijay has more power and meaning to it.

On the sports aspect of the movie, Kathir says that Actor Vijay used to keep practicing his shots and when free, Vijay used to come play with them. He says Vijay used to keep trying until he gets the shot right. On working with Yogi Babu after Pariyerum Perumal, Kathir mentions that Yogi Babu used to shoot spontaneous lines and along with Atlee, before shooting itself one can identify which scenes will make the audience laugh.
