R.Jayaraman of 'Nellai Kaappom Nel' is a pioneer in the field of agriculture, who has made impeccable achievements in increasing the productivity of paddy and rice. The Central Government and State Government have honoured Jayaraman with respectable awards in various occasions, appreciating his selfless attitude and service to the mankind.

He was diagnosed with Cancer, 1.5 years back, and in spite of that, he never failed to compromise on his work. He has now been admitted at a leading private hospital in Chennai and many leading actors, politicians, have been regularly visiting Jayaraman to enquire about his health.

All of the visitors financial help is fetching Jayaraman get world class medical treatment and he is said to be happy about this humanely gesture from many leading icons.
 

As part of this, actor Karthi had also recently met Jayaraman and extended his support to him. It should be recalled that Karthi played the role of a farmer in his last release, Kadai Kutty Singam. Post the release of the film, Karthi shared that he understood the plight of the farmers in today's society after working in that film. The reflection is seen through this humble gesture from the actor!
