WILL DANGAL RELEASE IN PAKISTAN?

Some time ago, Pakistan had decided that they will not screen Hindi movies, after the relationship between the two countries was going through rough weather.

However, this ban has apparently been lifted from yesterday (20th December) and theatres have started showing Hindi films. This suggested that Aamir Khan’s sports biopic drama Dangal might also release in Pakistan.

But according to north Indian media, an influential media group has purchased the distribution rights to screen the film in Pakistan. They deny that the film will be screened there. The situation still lacks clarity and one would know if Dangal would be screened in Pakistan or not, soon.

Dangal is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and stars Sakshi Tanwar, Sana Fatima Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra in pivotal roles. It is set to hit the screens this Friday, the 23rd December.
