Vijay Sethupathi's Orange Mittai will be screened at the Busan International Film Festival

Orange Mittai directed by Biju Viswanath and produced by Vijay Sethupathi recently hit the screens and has been appreciated by the audience for its sincere attempt in talking about an old man and his eccentricities.

The film had numerous interesting features. Vijay Sethupathi had written the dialogues, penned the lyrics of two songs and had also rendered his voice for a song.

The latest we hear on the film is that it has been chosen to be screened at the 20th Busan International Film Festival which is often called the Cannes of Asia. The festival is scheduled to happen from the 1st to 10th October 2015. Orange Mittai is having an international premiere there at 'Window on Asian Cinema'.

Talking about this director Biju states, “I am quite happy about it. This is the 3rd time my film is going to Busan. The good thing is that Orange Mittai will be having its international premiere there. It is a good venue for a movie like Orange Mittai. Busan has a kind of sensibility and they are on top of such film festivals. It helps the movie to be in such slots. It is like a chain reaction. One thing will lead to the other. And the bigger festivals in Europe and US will start afterwards and it is good to have the Asian part done so that we can concentrate on Europe and US”.

Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani and Hindi film Masaan are also selected to be screened at the festival.
