Siva Karthikeyan and team celebrate

Vivek Harshan showcased his mettle as a talented editor with Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda and the endorsement of the same came from the National Film Awards committee which chose him as the Best Editor for 2014. This has certainly put the Tamil film editors on a respectable national map, following last year when editor V.J.Sabu Joseph was recognized with a National Award for his edits in Vallinam.

Currently Vivek Harshan is working in Siva Karthikeyan’s film Rajini Murugan and the team utilized this opportunity to celebrate his success. The team congratulated the National Award winner by bringing in a delicious cake which was cut by the young editor. Hero Siva Karthikeyan garlanded Harshan and also fed him a piece of cake fondly and the unit cheered for the young editor happily.
