TAMIL NADU BOX-OFFICE REPORT - HOW HAS SIMBU'S VAALU FARED?

Simbu's much-awaited comeback vehicle Vaalu co-starring Hansika, is reported to have grossed around 8.5 crores in Tamil Nadu, after the first 3 days. The film released alongside Arya's VSOP and it has registered a good opening. The Chennai city gross of Vaalu is 1.03 crores, as said earlier in the day in our Behindwoods box-office report.

 

The Independence Day holiday on August 15th is said to have boosted the film's opening and we have to see how it sustains its run in the coming days. The lack of a big release this coming week, is also expected to benefit Vaalu, going forward. It is also tax-free in the state.
