Police protection for Shankar’s house

I, directed by Shankar and produced by Aascar Films hit the screen on 14^th January and is much spoken for Vikram’s hard work, the beautiful visuals of P C Sreeram and AR Rahman’s music, among others.

Meanwhile, the transgender community in the city is said to be upset by the way they have been portrayed in the film and are reported to be filing a complaint against the film and its makers. It is also said that they are staging a 'dharna' in front of Shankar’s house and also in front of the Censor Office in Chennai.

Taking these into consideration, police protection has been given to Shankar’s house. More updates to follow ...
