JIGARTHANDA GOES FOR A HUGE PRICE ?

Remaking a Tamil film is a usual routine in Bollywood. Artists like Salman, Aamir, Shahrukh and directors like Anurag Kashyap closely follow Tamil cinema and have high regards for Kollywood. The Kathiresan produced, Karthik Subbaraj directed Jigarthanda needs no introduction. The film was a runaway success earning critical acclaim from all corners.

 

Earlier it was reported that, Karthik Subbaraj himself was planning to remake the film in Hindi with a star-studded cast after he's done completing Iraivi. Now a trustworthy source says that the Jigarthanda producer has sold the remake rights of the film for a never-before-heard price to Sajid Nadiadwala, a leading producer known for remaking films like Kick and the Houseful series with biggies.

 

Adding to the breaking news is, a leading hero will get to play the role of Sethu, the menacing gangster originally played by Bobby Simha. Let’s wait for further confirmation from both the sides.
