THANI ORUVAN RELEASE PUSHED?

Jayam Ravi is on a roll with a couple of strong films gearing up for release. Sakalakalavallavan Appatakkar starring Ravi, Trisha and Anjali in the lead is all set to release this week on the 31^st of July.

His other film Thani Oruvan directed by his brother Mohan Raja, which was earlier said to release on the 14^th of August, might be pushed a little further to the 28^th of August. We hear the reason for this postponement is mainly to give an extended trade window for Appatakkar. Films like VSOP and Vaalu are also eyeing the same date. Looks like a sensible move indeed.

The songs of Thani Oruvan which were released few days back have been garnering some positive response among music lovers, and the trade talks suggest a winner on the evidence of what we saw from its slick teaser.
