JAMES CAMERON OPENS UP ABOUT AVATAR 2

James Cameron, the Hollywood director is known to set a benchmark that only he can scale. The visionary man who owns the highest and also the second highest ever grossing films in the world, Avatar (2009) and Titanic (1997), is back to break his own record. 

Cameron has been working on a sequel to Avatar for quite a long time now. The expectations are obviously huge and the director has finally opened up about the project in a recent interaction with the Hollywood media.

When asked if it was an easier task to direct a sequel, Cameron replied  "You have to challenge yourself. Obviously, expectations are going to be very high on these films, especially on Avatar 2, to make sure it wasn’t just some big fluke the first time. So we’ve got to deliver. I’ve created a nice rod for my own back, so they say."
 
“We have been focusing on design work for about a year and a half and all the characters, settings and creatures are all pretty much the same."

Avatar 2 is likely to hit the screens sometime in 2017. That is still a long time to go!
