It's celebration time for Harris Jayaraj

Born on January 8th 1975, music director Harris Jayaraj is celebrating his birthday today. He started his music career as a guitarist at the age of twelve in 1987. He has worked with notable composers like Raj Koti, AR Rahman, Mani Sharma, Karthik Raja and Vidyasagar.

Harris began his film scoring with Minnale(2001) and the song Vaseegara became a super hit. He earned Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for several movies like Minnale, Kaakha Kaakha, Anniyan, Vaaranam Aayiram and Ayan.

His latest albums Anegan, Nanbenda and Yennai Arindhaal have also topped the music charts this year.
