GV Prakash talks about his success story as a hero

Musician turned actor, GV Prakash is sure to sail in cloud nine with all the appreciation and big numbers that his recent youthful outing Trisha Illana Nayanthara (TIN) is bringing in. The year 2015 is surely a milestone in the career curve of GV as he has shined both as a hero and as a music director.

When Behindwoods spoke to this enthused man, this is what he had to say,

Beginning of the journey as a hero...

“The journey started last June when Sam Anton, director of Darling narrated the script to me. I was very confident about it and had a similar feeling when Adhik came up with TIN’s script. After doing over 50 films as a music composer, it is easy for me to gauge the scope and commercial viability of a script. I know what will work on-screen and what won’t. That is why both Darling and TIN made very good money for all its stakeholders.”

Your upcoming projects and its target audience…

Darling was widely accepted by kids and families, while TIN is purely for the youngsters. My next film titled Ketta Payada Indha Karthi is a love story that happens over two summers, slightly with the flavour of Yaradi Nee Mohini. It is sure to impress family audience of all strata. Bruce Lee will be loved by kids as it has a healthy dose of comedy. Both these films are definitely going to add-on to the success list and are much in demand among distributors.”

Juggling between music direction and acting…

“It is stressful with huge time constraints, but after all I love multi-tasking.”

GV Prakash has the crucial 'Vijay 59' in his kitty and we also hear that he is being approached by big directors for features planned in 2016.

He sure is doing a great job multi-tasking! Good going young man!
