DIRECTOR ANGRY ON THE LEAKED NUDE VIDEO OF ACTRESS

Director Anurag Kashyap who has given intense films like Gangs of Wasseypur was in for a shock, a couple of days back, when he realized that a video of his short film which he had directed for an international market went viral. The clipping of actress Radhika Apte (Ratha Charithiram, Dhoni and All in All Azhaguraja fame) showing her frontal nude from below was leaked and was being shared in social networking platforms.

A visibly angry Anurag had explained that it was part of a twenty minute short film that he had directed along with six other directors from across the world and that when a short clip such as this is taken out, it is bound to appear out of context. He had taken extra care to shoot the scene only with a lady crew and also at every stage of post-production ensured that it did not get leaked out, and delivered it to New York a month ago. But now, all his efforts seem to have gone waste with someone leaking it. He confirms that he has complained to the authorities and that action would be taken to bring the culprit to books.

In continuous tweets, Anurag stated, “And soon we will have the culprit...Sick media and sick minds..For the record the film is delivered and leak is from NY and the producers office in NY is investigating it and so is Crime Branch”
