''BOLDER FILMS HAVE TO HAPPEN HERE'' - TIN DIRECTOR

Trisha Illana Nayanthara has made quite a lot of heads turn with its bold content. The director of the film, Adhik Ravichandran has also made it clear that the film is meant for the guys and strictly not for the family audiences. He also admitted that we need bolder cinema going forward, in a recent conversation.

 

"Bolder films have to happen, with varied themes and concepts. Censor restrictions are really tight here and the board members said that TIN is the benchmark for this genre and that they can't admit anything beyond this. Comparisons with a movie like American Pie are just not reasonable as we operate within so many strict parameters here.

 

The kind of themes that Balachander sir handled long ago, is remarkable. Mysskin sir recently talked about making a bold 'A' rated crime thriller not meant for family audiences and women. This is good news for movie buffs, as a filmmaker like Mysskin can be trusted to not deliver anything crass or vulgar even in his 'A' rated films."
