What is Vijay Sethupathi upto in the coming months?

The path was not filled with roses for Vijay Sethupathi when he made his foray into films. He slowly and steadily climbed up the ladder of fame playing different roles which ultimately led him to the destination of films with lead roles.

Having showcased his versatility with diverse characters and garnering huge praise for his performance in films like Soodhu Kavvum, Idharkuthaanae Aasaipattai Balakumara, the down-to-earth actor has quite an imposing line up of projects which are in various stages of production.

The immediate month will witness his releases Purambokku Engira Podhu Udamai directed by SP Jhananathan where he would be sharing screen space with Shaam and Arya. Seenu Ramasamay’s Idam Porul Eval would follow suit.

Mellisai with debut director Ranjit Jayakodi where Sethupathi has teamed with his Nadula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom heroine Gayathrie Shankar is geared up to release before the end of this summer season.

Other projects are Biju Viswanath’s Orange Mittai, Vignesh Shivan’s Naanum Rowdy Thaan with Nayanthara, untitled film of Nalan Kumarasamy, Karthik Subbaraj’s Iraivi, Pushkar Gayathri’s Vikram Veda and Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum director Arun Kumar’s cop subject.
