Vijay's Kaththi is on a record-setting spree
Oct 12, 2014Vijay's reach and popularity know no boundaries and the star's movies are popular not just in TN, Kerala and Karnataka, but also in overseas markets such as UK, US, Malaysia, Sri Lanka to name a few.
In the USA, till date the record for the maximum opening screens for a Tamil film is held by Kochadaiiyaan with 104 screens. Now Kaththi looks all set to beat that opening screen count record with 105 screens. MM Media, the distributors are heard to have already booked 90 plus screens.
After a new opening screen count record in the UK, a new benchmark in the US is also in the offing. Kaththi is definitely gaining some solid momentum.
