Vijay takes the 'Amma' insult personal

Actor Vijay along with other members of the Tamil film fraternity staged a protest yesterday outside the Sri Lankan Consulate in Chennai.

 

Speaking at the event, Vijay praised the Chief Minister of the state J.Jayalalithaa (Amma) for the decisive actions she took to solve the long running Indo - Sri Lankan Issue. Vijay also condemned the Sri Lankan Government for posting a defamatory article about the state's CM on their defense website.

 

Vijay ended his speech saying that defaming Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister is equal to degrading his own mother.
