The unique Valentine's Day couple

This Valentine’s Day saw many first looks being released but none more unique than the one featuring the senior couple of Delhi Ganesh and Patricia Tanner.

The short film Unakae Uyiraanen revolves around just two characters played by Delhi Ganesh and Patricia Tanner and the trailer charts the early days of the characters, Krishnan and Anna. “The story was specifically written with Delhi Ganesh in mind while Patricia is a seasoned theatre artist and her Anglo-Indian profile fit the character perfectly” says the director Surrya M. Narayanan, an engineering student from Coimbatore.

This 23 minute film was canned in 3 days in Coimbatore and Ooty and was shot using the Blackmagic camera. Cinematography is handled by Raja Bhattacharjee who previously worked on projects like Vichithram and Anbudan Jeeva. Editing department is handled by Mugan Vel while Jones Rupert is the film’s music director.

Surrya plans to release the film sometime in April this year and is targeting the festivals and competition circuit.
