The teaser of Santosh Sivan’s Inam (Ceylon in English) was released recently and has been garnering good talks all over. Inam is about Tamil refugees from Sri Lanka. The cinematographer turned director is known for doing both mainstream commercial films and also serious subjects.

When questioned about this, he says, “I love to watch commercial films. I love the songs and the experience of shooting a fight sequence”. He also admits that he was very excited when he was shooting Rajinikanth in Thalapathy and says that although he loves shooting commercial films, he will not direct such films.

Inam has music by Vishal Chandrashekar that stars Saritha, Sugandha Ram and Karan. The film was premiered last year in the Busan International Film Festival.
