Ramanujan is an upcoming film on mathematical wizard Ramanujan being directed by Gnana Rajasekaran. Nizhalgal Ravi plays the role of Ramanujan’s father and he shares his experiences working in the film

How did you come on board for Ramanujan?

I’ve known director Gnana Rajasekaran for a while as I have worked with him in the past. He felt that I would be the perfect fit for playing the role of Ramanujan’s father. Hence I am in this prestigious film.

How was it to work with Gnana Rajasekaran?

It was a great pleasure to work with him. He knows the kind of performances he needs from an actor, he is a perfectionist and a lovely person to work with, more over he plans everything in advance.

What is your role like?

I play Ramanujan’s father ‘Srinivasa Iyengar’ in the film.

It was a great experience since it’s a real life story.  As an actor it's a challenging one and with the crew’s help, it became easy. It’s an unforgettable experience.
