G.V Prakash's Anurag Kashyap like film

It is reported that the distribution rights of G.V Prakash's debut venture as a producer, Madha Yaanai Koottam has been acquired by JSK Film Corporation. Our Behindwoods correspondent got in touch with the music director turned producer, and he was all excited about his maiden venture.

 

"The film is a great effort and the concept and feel will be completely unique. There are 6 terrific songs in the movie for which N.R Raghunanthan has composed the music. I have rendered my voice in one song titled 'Kona Kondakaari'.

 

The lyrics for all the songs have been penned by Ekadasi. We have shot the entire film in Theni and will hence have a Madurai flavour."

 

Speaking about the distribution rights being acquired by JSK, G.V Prakash mentioned that Sathish Kumar loved the movie and told that it is like an Anurag Kashyap film.

 

"JSK team have their own way of doing business. They are very good at it. They know when, where and how to promote films. They also have good relationship with theaters. I am happy that they have liked the film and have taken it up."
