Veteran actress Sukumari passes away

Veteran actress, Sukumari breathed her last today. She was 74. The actress had succumbed to burns recently and was admitted in a private hospital. Sukumari passed away following a heart attack.


The actress had been acting since she was 10 and been a part of more than 2000 films. The actress has also won innumerable awards and accolades, including Padma Shri, a National Award and four State Awards.


Behindwoods conveys its condolences to the friends and family of the legendary actress and salutes her for all her precious contributions to the film industry.
