‘Archies’, the world famous comic series, is celebrating its 650^th issue. The makers of the comic series have come up with an idea to create a storyline of an Archies World Tour. The storyline will apparently comprise of four parts and the first part of the story would be their tour to India. The story has been titled as 'Rockin' the World Part One- Bollywood Love!'
 

The CEO of Archies comics Jon Goldwater and artist Dan Parent mentioned in a recent interview that they were very fond of India and Indian movies. When they were asked who they would cast as Betty and Veronica, if they had to choose between Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor, this is what they said.
 

“All three are beautiful actresses. I think Deepika Padukone could play Veronica and I'd be happy with either of the other two as Betty.”
 

It must be noted that Archies is a comic series revolving around Archie and two other girls Betty and Veronica. The characters Archie, Betty and Veronica can be compared to the characters played by Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee respectively in Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
