Talk about movies whiling their time away in the cans, Sathurangam is one such. The movie was kicked off and finished about a couple of years ago. Despite Karu Pazhaniappan’s decent track record, the movie could never see the light of the day owing to the very many financial problems plaguing it.

It has Srikanth and Sonia Agarwal in the lead and it’s hard to see how they will appeal in the present scenario. However, if the story is fresh and demands attention from the audience, it might just click with them.

It’s touted to be a racy entertainer and Vidyasagar’s music has already been talked about. The songs, in the airwaves for quite sometime now, will possibly become more popular when the movie is released. Sathurangam, the director says, is a battle of wits and wisdom.
